That's So Pinoy Promotions, in association with Mahal Foundation, is hosting a concert called “Dare to Love” on Friday, October 8, 2010, at the Korean Community Center in San Francisco, CA. This benefit concert is solely dedicated to raise awareness on the systemic poverty in the Philippines.
The proceeds will be donated to That's So Pinoy's "Give Love, Get Love" project along with Mahal Foundation’s Summer Fundraising Campaign. The “Give Love, Get Love” project focuses on raising funds needed to provide kids/orphans with the necessary tools (i.e. art supplies, sports equipment, musical instruments, etc.) to express their passion through their own unique and creative way. Mahal Foundation’s Summer Fundraising Campaign has a goal of reaching $70,000 to provide as much help needed to relocated victims from Typhoon Ondoy as well as provide needed tools for those trapped in poverty.
