Filipino-American Network (FAN) Entertainmentwill be hosting the Project PSA Holiday Wrap Party at the Blu Monkey Bar & Lounge from 8pm until midnight on December 1st, featuring special musical guest Genesis Ian and the deliciousness of the Tapa Boy food truck.
For the last several weeks FAN Entertainment has united Pilipino American filmmakers and Pilipino American non-profit organizations to create public service announcements about the wonderful community organizations in Southern California.
In addition to the numerous filmmakers and representatives from the non-profit organizations, musical artist Genesis Ian will perform and guests will have a chance to eat food from Tapa Boy.
Guests are also encouraged to make donations to the non-profit organizations and FAN Entertainment to help them continue their exemplary work within the community. Representatives from many groups will be attendance.
FAN Entertainment is a collective of Pilipino American filmmakers, actors, comedians, producers, and a variety of individuals working in the entertainment community. FAN Entertainment is co-chaired by filmmakers Walter Boholst (Thrust) and Edward J. Mallillin (Brown Soup Thing, Flipped Switch).
Genesis Ian is a multi-talented singer/songwriter/musician whose eclectic brand of music fuses Hip-Hop, Rock, New Wave, and Reggae. Tapa Boy is one of the Los Angeles' most popular Philippine food trucks. Together with FAN Entertainment, the group hopes to bring together hundreds of hungry, entertainment loving, community minded individuals for a good time at the Blu Monkey.
Among the non-profit organizations participating in Project PSA: FilAm Arts, TAYO Literary Magazine, Pro People Youth (KMB), Mariposa Center for Change & Gabriela Network, BuyPinoy.com, and Kayamanan Ng Lahi Philippine Folk Arts.
