A lot of mainstream media exposure as of late for Pilipino-American athletes. Here are a few of the more notable pieces published for the viewing public

> Boxing pound-for-pound champion Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao recently took a break from his training sessions at Wild Card gym to stop by the set of America's Best Dance Crew. The episode involving Manny just debuted last night, but be sure to catch a re-run on MTV this weekend if you weren't able to see him then.

> Every great boxer has a great trainer, and Manny Pacquiao is no exception. Pacquiao's trainer, Coach Freddie Roach, recently hinted in an interview that was featured on the  ESPN UK website that if the camps for Mayweather Jr and Pacquiao do not set up a fight featuring the two legends after the March 13 fight in Dallas versus Joshua Clottey, Dallas will be the site of Pacquiao's 'last hurrah' and his career as a boxer.

> 19-year old Speed Skating sensation J.R. Celski is sponsored by 24 Hour Fitness. Just last week, his commercial as a member of Team 24 debuted on television screens nationwide. On top of his commercial, the Washington native also has a section on 24 Hour Fitness' website devoted to the documentation of his journey to the 2010 Vancouver games and the obstacles he had to overcome just to race, much less to medal.

> Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) veteran Brandon The Truth Vera is gearing up for his main event fight on March 21 in Colorado versus Jon 'Bones' Jones being shown for free on channel Versus, marking a historic night where the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debuts their first fight card shown live on a sports cable channel. UFC has recently released a video compilation featuring an interview with 'the Truth' on how he talks about he's still 'that guy', confident, cocky, and full of swagger, and how he is getting ready to prepare for a rising star such as Jones and their historic headline fight.

...and for all the NBA fans here's a quick rundown of next week's schedule for your local teams. If there is a team that you want shown on here, just leave a comment or shoot me an email!
