As September draws to an end, the long awaited NFL season is in full swing. Only 3 weeks have gone by, and there have already been a lot of surprises. From the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions being 3-0, to the injuries of stars such as Peyton Manning and Jamaal Charles, the season is shaping up to be one of the more memorable ones in recent years. Let's take a look at JM's BBM NFL power ranking for the month of September and see where everyone stands.
1. Green Bay Packers 3-0 Super Bowl champs. Perfect Record. No one injured. No challenge necessary.
2. New Orleans Saints 2-1 Lone loss in highly contested match with Green Bay. Colston coming back this week too has to be a plus.
3. Buffalo Bills 3-0 Last year's punch line gave New England a taste of their own medicine. Fitzpatrick, Jackson, Johnson looking stellar.
4. Detroit Lions 3-0 Stafford healthy, team performing well. How long can he stay that way though?
5. New England Patriots 2-1 Despite slip up against Buffalo, offense more than making up for lackluster defense.
6. Baltimore Ravens 2-1 Rookie Torrey Smith had a breakout game last week, can his presence another dimension to the offense to compliment Ray Rice?
7. Houston Texans 2-1 Arian Foster is finally at full strength. With Ben Tate running well, there are options aplenty to rack up the points.
8. Pittsburgh Steelers 2-1 After opening day loss, Steel City reels off consecutive wins. Polamalu and Steelers' D stepping up to aid in last week's win.
9. New York Jets 2-1 Jets' run defense questionable after Raiders run all over them. Fluke week or beginning of the end for highly touted D?
