In the sports world, there are a lot of names that are immediately associated with their respective sports. With Michael Jordan comes basketball, with Babe Ruth comes baseball, and when you think of football, Joe Montana is a name that many would think of first. In the boxing world, you have your Muhammad Ali’s and Oscar de la Hoya’s, but the name most would think of now is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.

For any sports enthusiast or even the casual sports fan, having an item from their favorite athlete is a cherished treasure that one would infinitely value. The autograph is typically the object of choice for sports fans, and typically most famous athlete's autographs are hard to come by, especially Pacquiao's. Released last month, Topps has released a collectible card set where one has the chance to obtain an autograph from the champions of all different sports, including that of Manny “Pacman' Pacquiao.

The exact set, called Topps' Allen & Ginter, is modeled after the original series released in the late 1880s, and features autographs from prominent figures and champions from all sports. In this year's version with Pacquiao, other famous boxers released in the same series included Micky Ward and Jake LaMotta, as well asPilipina Champion Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton. Outside from boxing, sports such as auto racing and swimming have been included as well, broadening the scope of audience that would appeal to the this product.

When the sixth installment of Topps' popular Allen & Ginter baseball card set arrives in July, it will be packing some punch that the collecting ranks haven't seen before.

It will include the first autographed trading card of WBC Super Welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. You know, he's the guy who is Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s best friend and the first fighter to win a title in eight different weight classes. He's the guy considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound boxer today.
