MTV America's Best Dance Crew Season 5 is undoubtedly alive and the top 9 crews of the nation are more than ready to take over your TV sets. From our experiences with the dance crews and judges so far, we at BakitWhy.com guarantee an exciting season filled with heartfelt emotion and surprises galore.
The top 9 crews kicked off the first round of National competition dancing to monster mixes of chart topping hits as they exhibited their collaborative strengths and unique qualities. With only 8 spots guaranteed for the upcoming week and with no one wanting to make the first exit off ABDC's stage, each crew laid it out on the line for their respective performances.
The competition was divided by region once again, with each sending one of their own to the bottom 3. Despite a strong showing from Hype 5-0, Heavy Impact's display of athleticism and Poreotix's skillful work with isolations, they found themselves again vying for a coveted spot. The South turned it up as Jungle Boogie continued to unleash the fierceness. Royal Flush had a couple of successful tricks up their sleeves, but unfortunately for Swagger Crew, their stage presence was not enough. As for the East, Saltare fought and proved themselves against the "gimmick" label they had managed to acquire with another solid presentation. Static Noyze, with their eclectic flair and showmanship, gained positive remarks from the judges, but it wasn't enough to secure a position. Bluprint Cru, on the other hand, closed the performance round on a powerful note.

The Bottom 3 consisting of Hype 5-0, Swagger Crew, and Static Noyze were left to battle it out. Ultimately, the judges decided to send Swagger Crew back home to Atlanta, Georgia.
