The Filipino-Canadian gamer vies for a $100,000 prize on the new reality game show.

Pro Gamer Celeste Anderson Competing to be King of the Nerds

22-year-old Filipino-Canadian Celeste Anderson is currently one of eleven contestants vying for a $100,000 prize on the new reality game show, King of the Nerds, airing Thursdays on TBS. Hailing from Orillia, Ontario, Anderson is an expert at first-person shooters, competed in Halo competitions across the United States, and can solve a Rubik’s cube in less than 25 seconds.

Growing up, I wasn’t the popular girl. I was very shy and very insecure. But once you put me in a competitive atmosphere, I’m a complete b****,” Anderson said on the show’s premiere episode. Anderson was selected to be part of the Blue Team and a few of the contestants have already noted that her skills as an avid gamer make her a potential threat.

King of the Nerds airs Thursdays at 10/9C on TBS. Learn more about the show on its official website by clicking here and read Celeste’s TBS bio by clicking here!
