Ramiele Malubay Performance at Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto fight at MGM Grand Arena

Las Vegas, NV - Ramiele Malubay had the opportunity to perform the US National Anthem on November 14, 2009 prior to the Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto fight at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ramiele 's performance received positive reviews from the millions of viewers worldwide who tuned into the fight, as well as from Ramiele's fans from TV reality show, American Idol, in which she was a part of. Reviews are still coming in through several media outlets as through social networking websites such as Twitter and Facebook.
Ramiele Malubay is popularly known from American Idol, Season 7, where she placed in the Top 10 as the 9th place finalist. Season 7 finalists also include: David Cook, Syesha Mercado, Brooke White, David Archuleta. After the show, Ramiele went on the fifty-city American Idols Live! 2008 Tour, and has made several guest appearances in both the United States and in the Philippines.
The opportunity to perform the US National Anthem for the Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight came about after an invitation to audition in front of Manny Pacquiao and his team. Ramiele then received news that she was selected and immediately made preparations for the performance. Ramiele performed the US National Anthem, while Philippine female group, La Divas performed the Philippine National Anthem and Latin Grammy award winner Ednita Nazario performed Puerto Rico's National Anthem.
Today Ramiele is currently performing and making guest appearances at concerts and tours. She is also currently working with studios and producers in Los Angeles and San Francisco, recording her debut solo album. The album is due for release in 2010.
