Hey there BakitWhy.com! Now that we've relaunched there are so many things to explore on the new BW. Thank you SO much for being patient as we filter in new features and make our final tweaks. We're always open to feedback and new ideas so if you have them... send them our way! In the mean time, here's a quick FAQ on our new Blogs system. Take a look, then go to our Blogs page and post away!
The following is a Checklist to help in creating and maintaining your own Blog here on BakitWhy.com:

Here's a list of things to help you make sure that you do not forget anything when you publish your own blog.
Before entering the blog, ask yourself:
1. Did I first write my blog in a separate word document? (Optional)
2. Did I proofread my blog?
3. Did I cite my sources correctly?

1. Input Title
2. Select a main photo for your blog. There are 2 ways to do this:
1.Take and use your own photos
2. Select from Flickr using the following method:
--Go to Flickr.com.
--Click on "Search" towards the upper right hand corner.
--Click on "Advanced Search" towards the upper right hand corner.
--Beside "Search for", enter in your search terms.
--Beside "Creative Commons", check "Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content".
--Click "Search".
--These are the photos that you are able to use.
3. Upload your photo. Ideally the photo should be 500px by 250px.
4. Input your blog using the following if you are cutting and pasting from a word doc:
--Cut and Paste into the blog editor
--Select “Full HTML” option right below blog editor
--Style your blog accordingly.
5. Select a Category under the Vocabularies section (right hand side)
6. Input your Post Keywords (Tagwords)
7. If you want to add URLs: Create URLs with Target = Open in new window.
8. There are two ways to cite sources.
1. Highlight text and link to an outside source.
2. Create a Related Sources/Articles section at the end of your blog. Then link out following the format of:
Title, Source
Ex. Sarah Palin Is Bailin', CNN
Make the "Title, Source" the entire URL linking to the source.
9. Save & Preview!
