SIPA’s “GREEN” Halloween Costume Contest!

Not only will SIPA be presenting a few awards for the “Best Halloween Costumes” at SIPA’s Terror on Temple Street Halloween celebration this coming Monday night, we’re encouraging ALL YOUTH (Junior High School and younger) to be both GREEN and CREATIVE with their Halloween costume that they wear that night for a chance to win a couple prizes!

ONE winner will be chosen for the most creatively “GREEN” Halloween costume that night.

The winner will receive a $20 Gift Card plus a “green” energy-saving light bulb for their family.

Your Halloween costume is “GREEN” if…
• Your costume is homemade (–ask your parents or a friend for help!)
• It is NOT bought from the store (or at least not entirely store-bought)
• Any piece(s) of your costume that you wear or use (such as clothing, hats, accessories, other material) that was already in your own home
–it is O.K. if it belongs to someone else like your parents, your brother, your sister, or your grandparents, etc.
• If you re-create an old costume you wore last year or a long time ago into something different and new this year!

Ask around for homemade costume ideas or find many different ideas online!

…And remember, be as creative as you’d like!
