Filipino International Film Festival Los Angeles (FIFFLA) is a non-profit organization created to promote Filipino talent and Filipino culture through cinema. The mission of FIFFLA is to raise awareness of Filipino films and Filipino artistry in the United States and internationally. We want to bridge Philippine Cinema and independent filmmakers directly with Hollywood by mentoring and supporting independent diverse content with the development of newly created audio-visual arts. In turn by elevating our current standards of Filipino films with better ideals, story development and visual concepts as it will only help preserve our cultural cinematic history with a better representation of our culture globally. The 2nd annual Filipino International Film Festival Los Angeles is taking place on September 24th-26th, 2010 at the Arena Stage Theater in the heart of Hollywood.
