Dreaming away from home

It's been a bit over a month now since my arrival to california. After i graduated in June, i ventured out here in hopes of bringing me closer to my dream. It is also the first time that i am on my own, away from home and my family. California is a lot different than Canada.

I always wondered how others moved out at a young age whether it be for school or work. I was glued to my home. I'm not sure if its just because of our Filipino culture but like they always say, there is no place like home.

I've learned so much within the past month and i've met a huge network of amazing people whom are also trying to reach something. Even through networks such as Bakitwhy i've been introduced to a whole new experience. It really feels good when doing work is less of a "chore" and more of an actually hobby. 

I guess what i'm trying to say is that sometimes you just have to put yourself out there and experience the world for yourself. This was a big step for me but I know that eventually it will lead me to that place I want to be in.

It's that moment when you know you're meant to do something; that moment when you know this is where you actually belong.
