Regional Contributor

Job Summary:                                                                                                        

Contributors provide written or video content production for BakitWhy.com. They follow monthly content schedules to provide consistent, engaging content for the worldwide BakitWhy.com audience. They also assist in outreach efforts for the Public Relations team by covering various Pil-Am community and social events. Contributors must fulfill at least 2 of the 3 responsibilities listed below every month. Each category can be doubled.

Responsibilities:  

* Write at least one post or produce at least one video per month from the Bakitwhy Content Schedule            

* Write at least two posts or produce at least two videos per month on a topic of personal interest pertaining to the

   Pilipino-American community or lifestyle

* Cover at least one event per month to help outreach for BakitWhy.com with the Public Relations Team

* Attendance of quarterly regional content meetings

Qualifications:

* Excellent writing ability; college-level writing experience and/or video production experience

* Experience working with the Pilipino-American community and solid interpersonal skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to effectively and efficiently use email and online calendar tools (Google Apps)

* Experience using blogging tools

Time Commitment:         

3-5 Hours per week
