Earlier this year, we had a call-out for Artists to see how creative they could get in visualizing a unique BakitWhy.com design that featured and portrayed Pilipino-American Lifestyle. We had a few very notable picks and I'm so excited to start this blog with this particular piece and artist!
Our featured artist of the week is: Oliver Akuin, an illustrator and animator from Los Angeles, California. "Always Moving Forward" with the iconic Pilipino Tricycle was his entry. Please click on the picture above.

"Hi! my name is Oliver. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I'm an artist/animator currently working on Cartoon Network's new show, Adventure Time. I love to draw, make films and tell stories! I also enjoy traveling to new and exciting places, explore new foods and meet new people. My other likes include running, guitars, airports and scrabble! word!"
