Don't Call It A Comeback

...call it a runback.

So I started blogging back in high school, slacked off a bit in college, went hard right after college (keeping up a good rate of five articles a week), then joined BakitWhy.com and slacked off again. It's not that I didn't like writing for BW, it was just that I went from blogging my thoughts to writing expository pieces that required research and a certain style format.

My resolution for 2012 is to create constant content that, above all, generates discussion. I can spend a week exhaustively writing up an article, but I always got more satisfaction when I'd see a bunch of Facebook comments or retweets on a simple interesting link I found. Now, I want to be the person behind those shareable links.

However, I do want to keep my content mostly focused on the Filipino and Asian American communities. In the past I would branch out into the worlds of video games and tech, and while I still do have a lot of interest in those subjects, I don't think I'm really providing any benefit to those communities by writing about them.

So from here on out, I'm going to try and deliver on posts twice a week – I'm thinking Mondays and Thurdays. I would've started last week, but I was starting the new year off with a cold...and, admittedly, Skyrim stole some of that new year's momentum.

I hope you guys are as excited about this as I am. I actually have a plan that spans a few months, but I don't want to spill all the beans just yet. But as for my first attempt at generating some discussion...what should I name my revived blog?

No Facebook?

I was about to discuss this post, but then I took an arrow to the knee

I should totally shift my blog's focus to adventures in Skyrim. That would require more playing. Which would mean less blogging. Worth it!
