Depaul University's Asian Cultural Exchange (ACE) Cultural Performed "Singkil" at Battle of the Bamboo 2012.

"Singkil" is a traditional Pilipino Muslim dance that comes from Lake Lanao in which the Maranao people perform. This dance consists of three main characters: the Princess, the Umbrella Girl, and the Prince, as well as fan girls and clappers. In "Singkil," the dancers represent those of the higher class and use their intricate movements to go through the clapping of bamboo sticks.
